Wipala - I understand the shortened .22 rifle is a configuration that is not allowed (One very stupid concept - a single shot .22 "pistol" because it wasn't originally one?) But what is the problem with the H&R revolver?

timbroman , not to the buyer but to the seller unless he/they ship it to a ffl. on both acounts

it's not the type of gun you have in the heat of a battle that counts, only if you have enough ammo for it, lets face it, a gun without ammo is only as good as a base ball bat!!

Saying that something is intended for "parts only" doesn't make it any less a firearm in the legal definition.

Wouldn't surprise me if this was a baiting operation. I pity the poor SOB that tries to go through with a sale like that. He's gonna get hit hard.

The high bidder on both gun and cylinder right now is:

Fatboy Fishing (0)

Sounds a little fishy to me!

Someone ought to snipe the cylinder at the last minute just to piss them off.

The poor receiving FFL dlr is going to crap his pants.
And then call the ATF within 15 seconds of opening the package.
Then the ATF will be waiting on the customer to pickup his new toy as well as the seller.
Very interesting, to sat the least...

I see - A shipping issue (FFL to FFL) re the revolver. And the shortened .22 rifle is a screw up all around due to having been modified by the owner. I have known that for some time which is why I remember being surprised when I first saw a cousin's Thompson Contender in .243 - pretty silly.

I sent the seller a message suggesting that he use a FFL for this stuff. He replied with a "thank you" saying he would.
