I bought a really neat Rossi .22/.410 interchangeable barrels single shot rifle for $119.00 at Dick's Sporting goods today. Where can I get a weaver scope mount base for it? It is already drilled and tapped, all I need is to find the base.

Thanks for any help.

A Weaver # 410 base should work, any good gunshop should have one.

DSCole, I don't know much about rifle scope bases. Would the Weaver #410 fit and match up with the already drilled and tapped holes in the .22 barrel?

go to a gunshop and ask for the proper mount. They can either look it up in their book or call the number that is in their book and chances are they have it hanging on the pegs. Thats what I did for the mount for my Rossi 17HMR

depending on the scope/rings combo there can be issues with cocking the rifle, not enough thumb clearance.

Trailfox I have sold a good number of these Rossi"s in our shop.
The Weaver # 410 base fits right on them ,no problem. I wouldnt post if I didnt know.
If you cant find one locally I can send you one.
You control the scope clearance above the barrel and hammer with the height of the rings you use to attach the scope to the base ,you can also use a hammer side extension piece available at gunshops if you need it to make reaching the hammer easier.
Any manufacturers Weaver style rings will fit on this base.

Weaver # 92A is made specifically for the Rossi 22/410
combo gun. Works perfectly. And like D.S. stated, you
control the height of the scope by the height of your
rings.

The same mount that works for the T/C works on the Rossi. I have the 243 combo with the 50ML.

OK, I understand now and because of all your help I won't make the mistake of getting the wrong base. Thanks again everybody.
