Sometimes marines are rather comical... hence my unique alteration.

I do sincerely hope no jug/jarheads take offense regardless of branch, those who served will always have my respect, some more than others...

Actually, the user name is taken from one of the local bodies of water. The only paddling I do, is when my boat finds an uncharted underwater stump, sand bar or oyster bed.

Was A GySgt with HE Plt, EMC, 1st Maint Bn, 1st FSSG. Stayed stateside.

Had a Heart Attack the day before Iraq invaded Kuwait. They kept me in ICU for well over a Week. No TV or Newspapers. They did not want me to know my Marines had departed the area and I would not be going with them.

But my field was short so the allowed me to re enlist to complet my 20.

Watched again as the headed out for Samalia.
