Is there anyone out there that can tell me about the small single shot "Hand Cannon, Belly gun, etc" that has been given to me? here's the details off the pistol itself; Thunder 450 cal. Derringer, R T and M Inc. Bristol Tenn.USA #J56859. It shoots a Single 410 shotgun shell the whole gun is approx 6-7 inches long, the barrel folds down to load. Can u tell me approx. when it was made? How much its worth? Where I can go here in Phoenix to get the small problems it has fixed? I can't seem to find anyone here that can tell me about it. PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!

I'm not familiar with this particular gun, but a "Thunder Five" revolver was made in TN under different names within the last 10-12 years.

If it has "small problems", value would be < $100.

For parts, you might try Holston Enterprises, 428-538-5957.

The "Thunder" derringer breaks to the side, not down, to load. The gun shoots.410 2-1/2" shotgun shells. Chamber inserts were supplied for 9mm, .380, and several other calibers. This gun is now being made by Masterpiece arms. The design is very simple, and any decent gunsmith should be able to repair it.
