Anyone familiar with reloading 20MM Vulcan Rounds and is there a reloading press that will handle it and a book that addresses the reloading specs for these?
Thank you.

I THINK I remember years and years ago reading something about a fellow using an old single stage Rock Chucker press to do these. He may have altered it...

Once you find the press, I just wondered where you would find powder and primers. Don't think that Bullseye would work since most cannon ammo uses powder that has grains the size of small pencil erasers, and primers are not 209s or even large rifle!

Hmm, maybe its not possible to reload 20MM Vulcan Rounds then...
Wonder if Barrett will have the XM-109 25mm Rifle available for civilians, but then you would run into needing to reload it and be back in the same place again?

I think I read some where that A-Square had data on it, but as far as supplies, good luck.

Check with Old Western Scrounger. I'm pretty sure that big press he had at the Shot Show was made big enough for the Vulcan 20mm.

The press used is IIRC built in Australia. It makes the RC look like a toy, and even dwarfs the "regular" 50BMG presses. 50BMG on a 20mm+ press looks like a 223 on a Rockchucker.
Primer pockets can be bushed down to accept 50BMG primers. This isn't a bad thing, as standard Vulcan primers are electric fired.
Powder is only available on the surplus (pull down) market

Some guys like a mag full of lead, I still prefer one round to the head.

It could be that Anzio Ironworks has a source since they make a shoulder fired rifle that shoots that round. www.anzioironworks.com

Wasn't the original H-4831 used in the 20 MM? It seems like I remember that this was Hodgdon's second surplus powder that he bought and sold in bulk after WW II?
