| Just got the new Shooting Times today. Cover has the new savage model 25 LVT. Nice looking rifle. To be offered in .204 and .223 starting out. Has the thumbhole stock accu-trigger and a MSRP of 635 bucks. Not a big fan of the .223 but would'nt mind having one of these babies in .204. You guys seen these yet?? |

Yeah, but can it push a 55 grain pill over 4,000 FPS?  
BTW, That Savage Model 25 seems like a pretty good deal from what I have read. I am still up in the air about thumbhole stocks. Just don't think I like the looks of them.

| I really never liked the way thumbhole stocks looked either. But had never shot one. A friend had a muzzle loader with one and I tried it. Most comfortable fit ever. Would'nt want to carry it around far, but thats not what this is designed for anyway. I think I've got to put this model 25 on the want list.... |

Yeah, the 32 grainers get out there over 4000 fps. But my ruger really does not like them. I shoot the hornady 40 grainers and get alot better accuracy. Everyone that reloads the blitz king 39 grainers seem to get great results. |

| I just bought a 25LV-T 223 I had a sweet 223 put on it today plan to take it out tomorrow will let you know how it goes |

| Not good on the savage 25lv-t jammed after 3 shot got in cleared jammed again after another 3 shots could not clear broke bolt trying not gun back atsavage under warrenty getting fixed |
