I got this in an e-mail, supposedly some Mexicans cloned a truck to smuggle drugs with. The pics of stacks of money are taken in a house in Mexico after a raid. Regardless of the truth to the story, still impressive photos.

Both sets of pics are the real deal. That TxDOT truck was nailed sometime last year (I believe) and the pics were posted here.
This isn't the only bogus marked vehicle that's been nailed smuggling down this way. They've been busted using fake FedEx vehicles, phone company trucks, ambulances, etc.
Now for the test  - That TxDot truck was stopped because there's something incorrect which could be - and was - spotted from the opposite side of a divided highway. What gave it away? |

that little nubby siren light on top doesn't look kosher, but I wouldn't know the difference, wild guess (unless it's a pop can on the roof)
best guess, I don't think TXDOT trucks have tinted windows |

Did a web search since I did not know. Two things were listed as wrong one I'm not sure of.
Reflective stripes where wrong. Tailgate has stripes not sure what the real one looks like since I have not seen it.
The other is windows are too dark. Not sure on this one since my GMC with Factory windows the rear are so dark You cannot see in. |

Yeah,.....my Chevy Avalanche came with dark tinted rear windows also. |

| I had heard about the DOT truck, yes, its real, like TXS said, last year some time. No telling how many times they got by before they caught him. While they were doing the paperwork on him, the big loads probably got by. Thats the scary part! |
