Hey all,
Just came across this little number-- the Rohm Burgo .25 (never even heard of that caliber before) marked "Burgo Made in Germany" with the Eagle N, a shield and the number 68, and a circle logo and SM on the plastic grip.
I love the size-- it's like a water gun. I can almost hide the thing in the palm of my hand! I'd like to start to carry it, but I'm interested in knowing more about two things:

1. Reliability-- does this brand have a good track record? Has anyone out there had problems with this model?

2. Availability of .25 ammo. Am I just a total greenhorn? How easy is it to find this kind of bullet?

Thanks y'all!

Frank- I'll look your pistol in the Blue Book of Gun Values to see what I can find for you, but as a long time NRA pistol instructor, I will be the first (probably of many) to tell you that the .25 cal is without a doubt the WORST caliber to have for a carry gun! If you like the small size semi-autos, you need to look into the Kel-Tec .380acp pocket pistol. This caliber is what most handgunners consider the weakest caliber to consider for self defense. I'll get back to you about your semi=auto. Doug

Go to a first steps class and try many different pistols before you buy one as a carry piece. The Burgo is one of the cheapest poorest quality hand gun in one of the weakest cartridges made . It is better then throwing small rocks but would be a toss up against throwing BIG rocks.

Frank- The BB of GV list your pistol at $35-$125 range, but based only on shooting value. No collector value. Keep it in a drawer, or pass it on to somebody you really don't like! Sorry, Frank!

Go to internetarmory.com and you can read about every handgun round. It will tell you everything you need to know to choose a good caliber for your intentions. It also gives you a percentage rating of the effectivness of each round.

Yikes! I'm glad I didn't try it out in the field!
I guess you shouldn't carry a gun just because it looks cute...
Well, I'll put it aside and stick with my ppk.
Thanks y'all!
