I have been looking for weeks and weeks for my dream gun. I have been saving up for a remington 700 XCR 30-06 in a LEFT-HANDED model. Every store locally has basically laughed at me and said that they can't find it.
It is the only gun i want. I don't want any other model.
Please Help
Thanks, Keenan |

| My Son owns a Remington 700, 30-06, and left handed. I'm not sure about the "XCR". He got it at Walmart about 3 years ago. |

GOOGLE is your friend. Use "Remington left hand model 700" or something similar as your search term. At least one dealer that sells them turns up.

mulie, try calling Remington and see if they make such a piece. If they do a local dealer might order it for you.
Good luck, OleDuk |

Scarce models are sometimes rationed to the large volume gun stores. That may be the case with this one.
You may want to expand your search to larger gun stores that are not as close to you. And, whenever, a store tells you they can't get it, ask which distributors they tried. Once you know who doesn't have it, that will help you narrow your search.

Remington's website does not indicate that the XCR (Xtreme Conditions Rifle) is offered in lefthand. However, they must have offered it in the past, or made some special runs in lefthand, because I do find some offered on this and other websites.
I see at least six XCR's in lefthand listed on this website, but they are all in 7mm Remington Magnum.
Do you know if Remington made any in 30-06? |

Have you considered contacting Remington customer service?
Get a human on the phone, tell them you want to buy this gun, and ask them how to get it.
