Cer, OOH Rah!! As to the sunglass's. You know I can't seem to remember were I left those things, I usually had them hanging from my Marine Corps--MCRD San Diego--"Issued" beach chair, but somewere in all those years I misplaced them.

REAL Marines ???? Man I didn't know the 2nd Division was turning those out.

Gunny, i think all the Hollywood Marines felt embarased with the issued sun glasses. All i've met somehow had lost them. I think it was so people would think you guys were real Marines.

We were there the exact same time. You were compnay D and I was B. We probably crossed paths 43 years ago. I've posted a photo just like yours. I'm standing next to SSG. Byrd holding the end of the flag pole. Hope all is well with you and have a great day!

Fort Knox, 10-3-66 "A-11-3, every man a tiger, raahhhhhhhhhhhhh!"

Remember the ID photo session? They put a half dress shirt on you with a tie and an ill fitting hat. I was so dumb, when they asked me what the breakfast of champions was, I said "Wheaties."

Had a Winchester m-14 though, loved that rifle, I couldn't miss with it.
