This is the kind of stuff that my old boss at the gun shop (RIP Sam) used to call Collectorless collectibles; meaning that it should have value but is probably of more interest as a heavy duty storage chest than as a historic relic. There are collectors of uniforms, radios, instruments, aircraft parts, various USGI equipment and lots of other stuff but I am not sure how much collector interest there is in empty crates by anyone other than among reenactors.
