I can't decide if they're actually doing us some good by dividing the Left with their ridiculous rhetoric or if they helping marginalize the 2nd Amendment by making it about hunting...

Some of both, I suspect.

Condition 2 is the most dangerous condition for a 1911. In that condition, it can fire if dropped. I refer to those without the Colt Series 80 passive firing pin safety.

Condition 1 is the way to go. If that makes you nervous, carry chamber empty or get a Glock.

Maybe this will awaken some of the hunters that have the mentality that since they don't hunt with an AR or a thirty round magazine that they have nothing to worry about when the government infringes upon the right to bear arms. Sadly some so called hunters have the mentality that as long as they can dust of their 7mm once a year to go out and sit in the woods during deer season they have nothing to worry about when the government attacks the 2nd Amendment. The 2A doesn't give us the right to hunt but at least stand up for our citizens right to bear arms. The government is trying to take gun owners rights and it's a shame that there are some hunters who are so selfish to think that an assault weapons ban is ok I can still go out with my bolt action rifle to hunt. We all as gun owners need to unify. The only way some hunters will wake up and worry about the attack on the 2A is to tell them they can't do something.

As if an "assault rifle" ban wouldn't be hard enough to pull off, while you're at it tick off the bolt-gun-hunters that say "nobody needs an AR." Now you have even more folks against you. Good job.

PETA says the Obama administration is sending a mixed message to children about gun violence by not calling for a ban on hunting.

i am getting so sick of this BS, i say F*** PETA.., F*** the Oscumba admin., F*** the chilllldren, and F*** gun violence, i have been around guns my entire life and i have yet to see a violent gun, every gun i have ever seen just stood in a corner, laid on a table or hanging on a rack or in a glass fronted display case. not one ever committed an act of violence, i have seen many violent people and some had a gun, in the hands of a human, a gun is nothing but a tool, just like a hammer, hatchet, tomahawk, tire iron, knife or baseball bat, in fact those tools i mentioned have killed more people in this country in a year than do guns !! hell !!, even swimming pools are more dangerous as killers of "chillllldren" !

what do the gun grabbers want to ban next ? killing off the clay pigeon flocks ?

the American patriotic citizen has lost more gun RIGHTS in these past 50 years than our first 188 years prior to JFK getting his brains splattered all over a limo and on a Dallas TX. street.

WHY ??

whiny assed nose picking dope smoking limp wristed liberals, democRAT commies, some of which are politicians, actors, singers, bus drivers, teachers, cops and people from all walks in life.

what do we need to do to stop this tyrannical regime ? and stop it we must or we will lose what patriots have fought for and gave their lives for..., our freedom, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

I think the PETA people should volunteer for our next turkey shoot. They could stick their heads up behind the log and we'll pluck their eyes out with paintball "markers".

Yea, I didn't look at it that way. It irritated me for them to jump in with thier own agenda (of course). But it isn't and shouldn't be to benefit thier fight. Could help? Just didn't surprise me they wanted to get a wack in.

FCD, if some liberal found and pulled my rip cord, half the internet servers would melt down in a mater of seconds, most of the people in this country would think we were hit by an EMP !

damnit, i was born in a free country, my childhood and teen years were filled with fun and excitement, i joined the Navy in 1955AD, to see the world and ride the WAVES..., i believed in freedom and put my life on the line for my country to make certain future generations could enjoy what i did, then JFK got his ass blown away, and the schint hit the fan and is rolling down hill like red hot lava from a volcano ever since that F***ING 1968 Gun Control Act. now here we are in 2013AD and we have lost our country to a Marxist socialist commie mulatto muslime SOB whom i personally believe he is NOT even a citizen of this once great land.
