I could hardly believe my eyes last week..Walmart in Yakima is selling guns Several years ago they stopped selling guns in WA State. Not bad prices but I like to buy my guns from an actual gun shop when possible..the Walmart monkeys know zip about the products they sell. I suppose if I knew exactly what I wanted and my regular shop couldn't get it I would buy it at Wallyworld but it would be my last choice.

My Ruger American .30-06 was $320 shipped from a GB auction, but that was shortly after they came out with it.

Here's a better buy, time running out if they still have stock. Open this link and size the image to be more readable, it's a CDNN flyer good until 14:00CST today:

Ruger American Lightweight Rifles are $299 with free shipping, call-in only. There's other guns in that sale too.

PLEASE...Will all of you who carry a 1911, chamber loaded, hammer down, unload it, leave it home, and carry something else.

Condition 2 is the most dangerous condition for a 1911. In that condition, it can fire if dropped. I refer to those without the Colt Series 80 passive firing pin safety.

Condition 1 is the way to go. If that makes you nervous, carry chamber empty or get a Glock.

Is there any way to find out which Wal-Mart store sell guns, because they don't sell any near me.
