This is how polarized the country is since the War of Northern Aggression ! It's not a good sign at all. A simple majority is not so simple!

If Trump believes the republicans can pass a long term budget through the Senate, he may actually be suffering from dementia.

Wasn't that a procedure advocated initiated by the Democrats?

I don't believe the Civ--i--l War had anything to do with it. Seems to me things in the USA were pretty mellow other than some disagreement between R's and D's until Obama really stirred up the racial issues, the anti-police issue, the happy issue, the business destruction model, the anti-energy issue and whatever else he could do to create havoc and chaos.

The government has no rights. Only the PEOPLE have rights that empower the government.

This country, with its institutions, belongs to the people who inhabit it. Whenever they shall grow weary of the existing government, they can exercise their constitutional right of amending it, or exercise their revolutionary right to overthrow it.
Abraham Lincoln

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It is they way it is. The way we cope with it, is what makes the difference.
