Hi, do you trade guns?
Yes, based on what it is, condition and what you would be looking for in value.
I have a new Ruger .22 pistol in the box, made in the 200th Year of Liberty. Ain't never been shot, but been told it shoots to the left.
Ok...sir, you would need to bring it in and have us look at it.

Exposure to the Son, will pervent burning.

I had to read that twice before I got it. we buy and trade for a fair number of guns but I don't make an offer before having the firearm in my hands.

My father used this Iver Johnson carbine to storm the beach at Normandy - I have been offered $10,000.00 for it...

Sigh.

I'd be interested in his time machine.

"Also he [David] bade them teach the children of Judah [the use of] the bow" -Samuel

"An unarmed man can only flee from evil, and evil is not overcome by fleeing from it." -Col. Jeff Cooper

"They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." - Benjamin Franklin

How about a customer points to a shotgun tells you he needs a screw that he points to on a M-12. I said is your shotgun a winchester. No he said not sure of the make or model

Or the chap that insisted his "buffalo" rifle be handled with great care and placed with a major auction house...

Had been in his family for 7 generations...

Helped tame the wild west of most likely used to defend children from Indian attacks...

Personally I offered the opinion that 7.7 was not an ideal cartridge for buffalo and the lack of mum on the receiver hurt the value somewhat...

Sigh.
