ordered some flowers and they were mashed by fedex. Seller sent them UPS no charge replacement. How the heck do you mash a box that says flowers on it ...

Easy, put a heavy box on top of them

Clearly it was not marked with "fragile do not stack boxes on top"

The same reason that in the last year I've had a Marlin 1894 arrive with a busted butt stock, and just got done filling a claim for a damaged $2000 Browning Citori...Really getting to be tough row to hoe...

The joys of FedEx. I had a bumper for a pickup travel between Chicago and Ontario, Ca. no less than 12 round trips, falling off their radar twice for a week at a time, before it was delivered a month an a half or so later than the expected delivery date. They have also been known to deliver a firearm or two to the same address as mine a couple of streets over. So far I have had only one problem with UPS. Keeping my fingers crossed.

If you think that's bad, you should see what they do to the boxes marked "FRAGILE"!!

MIL sent the wife some china, well packed, sturdy box (made specifically for shipping china). I think they drove over that box five times before it ever made it into the truck the first time!! Then they drug the thing behind the truck down an unpaved road all the way to Colorado after air dropping it with no parachute somewhere over Iowa...and then drove over it 5 more times right before they delivered it.

It wasn't a 'box' of broken china when it got here, it was a cardboard 'blob' full of white dust. It took some serious skill to mangle this box that badly!!!

I bought a peach at a grocery store once and it had a bruise on it. I mean...how the heck do you let that happen? Incredible. The incompetence of some people.

Seriously, my USPS story is mild, but again, "how the heck do they do this, and why?"

I opened my mail box. There was a key in it indicating I had a package in one of the larger boxes. I tried opening the package box directly underneath my mail box. Nope, didn't fit. I tried the next box. Nope, didn't fit. The sixth and last box (farthest from my mail box) worked. I opened it...and found another key!

That key fit the first box (underneath my mailbox). You guessed it. My package was there.

Sheesh.

Should have been a note in the last box to come to the counter to pick it up .

I guess they are no worse than the USPS that delivered a 336 Marlin Sport Carbine to my home broken completely off through the wrist. Cant find the correct wood set anywhere (want the forearm and buttstock to match style and color) so will probably have to buy another rifle for the wood and re-sell it with a mismatched set.
