Has anyone else "Not" been called for Jury Duty after they got they're Concealed Permit?

I used to get called up for it about every 3 years and so far, it's been over 10, about the same time I got the Permit.

Come to think of it, neither have I.

When youíre dead, you donít know youíre dead. All the pain is felt by others.
The same thing happens when youíre stupid.

Iíve been called more often Orange County has called me at least 4 times in the last 5 years and the state 2 times

All characters appearing in these jokes are fictitious. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental.

I've got to stop saying, "How stupid can you be?"
Too many people are taking it as a challenge.

Well now that you mention it- I have continuously had a concealed carry permit since about 1999 and never once been called to jury duty...

Lived in and been permitted to carry in WA, FL, TX, MD, and TX.

Had a CCW permit since 1997.....and have NEVER been called in for misinformed, no discussion about nullification, jury duty.

Come to think about it, neither have I since I got mine (WA state). I used to get pulled over occasionally when I was working swingshift and going home (they had a habit for trolling for drunks) and the first thing they would ask me is if I had a weapon on me. Coincidence or not.............?

Got called twice and picked once. I did have to obey court rules and not bring mine into the court room.

I was notified that I was "on the list" for jury duty in the Federal Court of NW MO last year. I wasn't actually called so may still be on that list.

Texas doesn't seem to be troubled by jurors with a Carry License.

I've been called after getting a CCW. Twice.

Both times I brought my firearm when I appeared too! I declared it, and turned it over upon entry where it was locked up, and returned to me with no incident.

No hassle. I was straight up about it. Declared it up front. No issues.

Got some sideways looks from from of the peanut gallery, but screw them.

Got dismissed the first time (as usual), and got selected the second time. Turned out to be a mistrial (on the 2nd day).

edit...totally crazy story about that mistrial too, but that's another story!

I have been carrying a gun for 47 years and have been called for jury duty a few times since retiring.

Here in Utah you have to type of people, the people with guns and Felons (and even some of them still have guns). It's against the law for them to pick a felon for jury duty...

I keep getting jury questionaires, but I get to check the exempt box. The wife hasn't got a single one.

I was called, for jury duty only once in the past 45 years. The court was in Detroit. I called the court and the individual threatened to have me arrested if I was lying to him. I had told him that I was not a resident of the city or even the county.
