He molested his 2 kids and gets off with no jail time. Wonder how much that cost him.

C&P
A wealthy heir from du Pont, Del., will serve no time in jail for raping his 3-year-old daughter because a Superior Court judge claimed in 2009 that he “will not fare well” in prison and should instead get probation and treatment, new court documents reveal.
Judge Jan Jurden’s 2009 sentencing for Robert H. Richards IV has resulted in new controversy. The judge reportedly said he considered the “unique circumstances” when settling on the man’s punishment for fourth-degree rape. The maximum penalty would have been 15 years in prison.

A lawsuit filed by Richards’ ex-wife accuses him of sexually abusing his infant son between 2005 and 2007, during the same time he was sexually abusing his daughter when she was only 3 years old. Police said they investigated allegations about sexual abuse of the boy but didn’t find enough evidence to charge him with additional crimes.

Patty Hurst walked into a bank with a sub machine gun strapped around her neck. Her friends robbed the bank while she stood guard.

Never spent a day in jail.

Thank you rich daddy.

Careful. Complain about 2 sets of laws in this country and Nunn will be along shortly to hang an Abby Hoffman sign on your door.

So 'I would not fare well in jail.' is a viable defense against incarceration?

That is a mighty big can of worms opened up right there.

We have this and the case of the kid who killed someone while dui and was let off the hook because he suffered from 'afluenza'. His parents had never held him accountable for his actions, therefore he was not responsible.

As far as I am concerned I cannot think of any crime worse than Molesting your own children........There is no cure for this except death and that is what he should get.

Patty Hearst was sentenced to 7 years in prison. She served 22 months before Jimmy Carter commuted her sentence to time served. In 2001, Bill Clinton granted her a full pardon.

These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world. 1 Peter 1:7

There is more than one criminal here.
Make room for two more: The activist judge and the governor that appointed the judge.

I thought the whole point of prison is that you don't fare well?
