Great movie! OK, which version of Red Dawn do you all like the best?

The old one or the newer remake?

I like the old one better because I'm not in the new one.

Think he plays Jed Eckert.

"When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace." -Jesus

"Also he [David] bade them teach the children of Judah [the use of] the bow" -Samuel

"An unarmed man can only flee from evil, and evil is not overcome by fleeing from it." -Col. Jeff Cooper

"They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." - Benjamin Franklin

Some will die in hot pursuit while sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life and drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche coming down the mountain

There's a scene at the (currently closed) Drive-in in Las Vegas (where it was filmed), where a group of guys are in a car near the fence, when HDS talks to Jed; I'm in the front seat, then (due to the magic of editing) I'm walking him back with another extra.
I'm STILL in love with Leah Thompson, no matter what Chuckie Sheen says.

I'm "in" two other scenes, but all you can see of me in the first one is my back, and the other goes by so fast, it's kinda hard to tell.

Ya gotta remember this was like 25 years ago, and we did MANY re-takes & actor walk-throughs; I got to party with the cast almost every night at the El Fidel Hotel (where the Welcome to Calumet banner is still visible) where the bomb goes off on the Rooskies.
I still laugh mao remembering when Jed tried to insert a magazine Backwards. Hollywood gun handling at its' best! Powers was the only other guy on set that could actually shoot, and hit what he aimed at.

Very cool. Trying to remember which part of the movie this is?
