There are lots of things we eat when we are partaking in the beverage of choice..some are normal and others are...well...weird.

I rarely eat pizza but when I do it goes best with a good beer in my opinion.

I also say the same about the wonderful west coast oysters that I BBQ in the shell. HAS to have beer to compliment it.

However right now I'm snacking on crackers and baby clams...and a toddy or 2. Not what I would call normal I guess.

Anyone else have a favorite snack item while tying one on?

Well, when your drinking beer and eating snicker bars you might be drunk. When you are dipping said snicker bars, and anything else handy, in the chocolate fountain you know you are drunk. Well you would know you were drunk if you was sober enough to consider such thing, which of course you just naturally aren't able to do.

Beer and pretzel sticks for me. If I am drinking beer with intensions of getting a bit of a buzz, I do not eat anything until the buzz takes affect.

If you drink closer to home, you could hit the garage!

As I sit here having my Friday Gibson, I munched on a bit of Gardetto's Snack Mix (think Chex mix) but it's usually some mixed nuts. And of course the Mezzetta's pickled onions in the drink itself.

I like cigars when I drink.

"When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace." -Jesus

"Also he [David] bade them teach the children of Judah [the use of] the bow" -Samuel

"An unarmed man can only flee from evil, and evil is not overcome by fleeing from it." -Col. Jeff Cooper

"They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." - Benjamin Franklin

Some will die in hot pursuit and fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit while sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life and drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche coming down the mountain
