Order a huge pizza, half one way, half the other. Dinners, or dinner and breakfast. If big enough, it is Four meals!

Laudate Nomen!

Given the current conditions here (cold and wiiiiindy), ham and beans in the crockpot sounds good.
In the interim (ham-n-beans takes time) 'mater soup and grilled cheese.

Whenever I'm a Class B bachelor, I go to the market and get all the stuff my wife hates and/or refuses to cook. My list would be moot for you, but I'm sure you have one of your own. Indulge!

When home alone, I opt for a double meat BMT (Italian) Subway full 12" sub (heated in their broiler) and a made at home chocolate shake. The shake is made with Carnation chocolate malted milk powder, vanilla ice cream and the usual 2% milk that is always in the fridge. I sometimes just make a tall glass of the chocolate milk and drop a few scoops of the ice cream in and drink it as a "float".

All of the subs condiments are whatever you like from their choices.

I know, a bit plain and simple but man food that will stick to your ribs. And I never have any kind of potato chips around when the Mrs. is home but a bag of Sour Cream & Onion chips adds some lubrication to the meal!

Take a little time and make a big pot of spaghetti and another pot of chili and you're good to go.

I've done ham, but my favorite is rye bread, sharp American cheese and several thin rings cut from a vadalia onion. MMMMmmmmm

When I'm under no adult supervision, it's a trip to the tavern and I enjoy some fine adult beverages and a nice meal........

My Grandpa always said "sounds like too much thinking, why don't you try aiming!"
