I'm not the biggest fan of Spam, but every once in awhile I like it. Here's a YouTube video on how to make homemade spam

At $1.47 a tin from Dollar General for Dutch Spam ("Luncheon Loaf"), just heat and eat.

Some things just HAVE to come out of a can!

That is what makes Spam, Spam!

Those folks at Armour tried to duplicate it under the name of "Treat" and totally missed the mark!

From that movie "Water World", what those smokers were eating from a can called SMEAT is what I call all those delectable protein packed canned yummies!

By the time you buy the ingredients and spend the time making it, a can or six would be cheaper. And probably safer to eat.

The Jalapeno version, sliced and fried, makes a killer sandwich with a dab of mayo and some onion.

I wasn't impressed with the bacon one. To be honest, there was a faint smoky taste, but nothing I'd call "bacony". Do try it yourself, though. Everybody's "buds" are different!

We have tried: Bacon SPAM, Jalapeno SPAM, Garlic SPAM, Portuguese Sausage SPAM, Teriyaki SPAM, TURKEY "SPAM", Andouille SPAM, and LITE Spam.

Best is Regular Ol SPAM.

TURKEY "SPAM" is NOT SPAM!

Jalapeno SPAM is good, but does not last in storage.

Garlic is Good, but is a bit different in mouth feel, not bad, but not same as regular.

I buy the singles packs a lot. Sure wish they made singles in more than Original and Lite, though.

My SHTF meat stash is heavy in SPAM. Lots of cans of generic and Armour Treat as well. (It's cheap, like half the price of SPAM.) I've never tried it. I'm sure if it comes to consuming it, I'll be pretty damn glad to have it.

Just one small portion of the food stash.

Still very much like and enjoy thin sliced fried SPAM.
