This is a poophole country

http://news.trust.org/item/20180112181218-ddcny

A ban on schoolgirls in Ghana crossing a river when menstruating - and on Tuesdays - has been condemned by child rights activists.

The ban, apparently issued by a local river god, means girls in Ghana's Upper Denkyira East district could miss out on their education during their period as they have to cross the River Ofin to get to school, the BBC reported.

"These girls need to cross the river to get to their school, so banning them from doing this is a violation of their rights," said Asum-Kwarteng Ahensah, country director for child rights group Plan International Ghana.

"We have seen girls being excluded from public gatherings when they are menstruating as they are deemed 'dirty'."

One in 10 African girls miss school during their periods, the U.N. children's agency UNICEF estimates, which means they fall behind in their studies and often drop out of school.

"There seems to be a systematic trend, sadly replicated across Africa, to stop girls from accessing education, which is essential for the development of the nation," Faiza Mohamed, Africa director of rights charity Equality Now, told the Thomson Reuters Foundation.

UNICEF's menstrual hygiene ambassador, Shamima Muslim Alhassan, told BBC Pidgin that the directive in Ghana violated girls' rights to education

Why hasn't the U.S. given them $500,000 to build a bridge? or is that now in the works.

This stuff sucks big time.

I don't know about that. PC snoflake and libturbs have been trying to shame us regular people for a long time. I think it is absolutely presidential to speak to the people honestly and in plain language.

It's the other behavior that is not presidential, but political. Let's get politics out of governance.

Saw a blip on the TV where all the black Politicians were all in a uproar so I have to ask them what have they done to help their poor Constituents besides keep them on the plantations and fill their pockets. Every American should sound off and tell the Politicians to support Americans not Illegals.
MSMBC was full of Politicians sounding off and some report are saying B.Clinton and Obama have said about the same thing but nobody said a thing about it

Trump summed up the weakness of America- we’re far too nice. We think about everyone, but our own people and our own taxpayers. Why on earth would we allow the world’s poor, unskilled, desperate and dependent masses to come into our country, while we’re $20 trillion in debt? Those days are over. It’s time to be picky and choosy.

We don’t have enough jobs for middle class Americans. We don’t have enough money for poor Americans. We have no obligation or need to let in more people who desperately need to use up our resources and our hard-earned taxpayer money. It’s time for “America First.” It’s time for extreme vetting. It’s time to cut off “Visa lotteries.” It’s time to let in skilled craftsman from Norway, and business owners from China, and doctors from Israel.

NO COUNTRY CAN SURVIVE OPEN BORDERS AND WELFARE XXXXXXXXX It's time for the Democraps use their brain and the Republicans to grow a Pair. Tell Congress it's time to Read the Bills First

Because honorable and informed opinions are usually not characterized by abusive terminology and fallacious reasoning.

Why? Because the guy served in the Marines before becoming a "career diplomat", it exalts his opinions and actions forevermore?

There are quite a number of people who served honorably in the military, and then went on to become leftists, statists, and worse. It turns out military service does not guarantee someone will never be a Dumas, politically or otherwise.

I know two 'former Marine officers' personally that run businesses in this area, and they are far from honorable men.

Simply having been in the military does not automatically make one honorable, nor does never having served make one less likely to be honorable.

Generalizations usually suck.

Again, just your opinion which by your owner manual says if I don't like it it must be false and abusive.

But this is why most that like Trump like him. He says it like it is, not abusive, not fallacious, just the way it is, then says what he wants to do to get it fixed, only to be obstructed by the democrats and rhinos.

Here's the thing, if you don't like his lowbrow language, hire an interpreter Most of us know exactly what he is talking about.

Your cutter-outer must not be working correctly

Rolling Stone even justified Obama calling Romney a “bullbababooeyter” – because “the dirty word is more precise.”

The magazine then listed examples of vulgarity employed by a host of presidents, vice-presidents and presidential candidates:

Abraham Lincoln: "There is nothing to make an Englishman poop quicker than the sight of General George Washington."

Barack Obama: “Obama really drew the ire of the pious, calling opponent Mitt Romney a ‘cow cookiester.’ Sometimes the dirty word is the most precise.”

Joe Biden: "This is a big f**king deal."

Dick Cheney: “Cheney reportedly told Vermont Senator Patrick Leahy to ‘go f**k [himself]’”

George W. Bush: “Commented on the presence of New York Times reporter Adam Clymer. Believing he had an audience of one, Bush called Clymer a ‘major-league jerk.’”

Barack Obama: "I don't think I should take any bababooey from anybody on that, do you?"

Richard Nixon: “The Watergate tapes put the phrase ‘expletive deleted’ on the map.”

Lyndon Johnson: "I do know the difference between chicken bababooey and chicken salad,"

John F. Kennedy: "This is obviously a f**k-up."

Harry Truman: “In Truman's eyes, General Douglas MacArthur was a "dumb son of a bitch," and Nixon was ‘a shifty-eyed dirtyed liar.’”

It really doesn't matter who you know. Two out of a sample of tens of thousands leaves a lot to be desired if you are thinking along the lines you seem to be taking. I don't think that is also the approach you take at Memorial Day. Or is it ?

It is not the service, but the quality of service, that matters.

As far as I can tell, the man has served honorably in both the military, as well as foreign, service. It is reasonable that the vetting process for an Ambassador would have revealed less than honorable service, I think.

You can believe whatever you want to about the value of those things in assessing character.

But the point was actually that when compared to someone who is known to be openly abusive and fallacious in their reasoning, when it comes to having to make a comparative decision about the credibility or value of a persons statements and actions, those things are certainly within the realm of appropriate considerations.

You do it however you want.

I attempted to copy and paste the list no success
Some way more nasty as Trump

The real obscenity does not lie in the terminology POTUS used.

The significant point is not whether he used a word to describe nations that represent failed states, poverty, disease, or anything else.

The point is that he asked why the US should accept people from those areas as immigrants, apparently equating human character and/ or capacity with their physical location, race, or place of birth.

Keep majoring upon the minors of the quote and you will never get to the real nub of the issue... the ignorant and despicable outlook and statement.

My hyphenated-American heritage is higher than the USA on both sides of my family.

And quite interestingly, looks like Barz is finally agreeing with what Trump said.

But character assassination is just a dumb way of saying it! Now all the libertards need votes, however, to sit on top of the pyramid. They can play the democracy game better than Republicans.

That's why you don't need I.D. to vote in America. The devil is always in the details.

The system needs to appear to be compassionate and caring for all people regardless of their apparent lack of aspirations and use of knowledge. They just can't pay for it right now, however.

People will always want more regardless of others. It's in our DNA. They say they will make money the old fashion way,we earned it.

Part of the challenge, as economist Brian Arthur recently proposed, “will not be an economic one but a political one.” How are the spoils of technology to be distributed? Arthur points to today’s political turmoil in the U.S. and Europe as partly a result of the chasms between elites and the rest of society. Later this century, societies will discover how to distribute the productive benefits of technology for two primary reasons: because it will be easier and because they must. Over time, technology will enable more production with less sacrifice. Meanwhile, history suggests that concentration of wealth in too few hands leads to social pressures that will either be addressed through politics or violence or both.
