Re: Is there any official way to have a serial number replaced on a defaced firearm?
The first thing that would happen if I call the ATF and ask them about a gun I had with no serial number they would want to know who did it? And how did I come in possession of it? That would start the snowball rolling down the hill. I can only see bad things happening when calling the ATF.

Re: Caption this...
"Hey, Mom! How do you like my new girlfriend?"
"Son, she's a deer."
"I know, but I really fawn over her."

Re: Prayers for my Dad
I thank you all so very much....
My dad got a very good doctor in the ER, he wasn't worried about the diafram thing.... He gave him all the right medicine ect and sent him home. I'm always so grateful to my gun forum family. I can give the prayer requests and go on and do what I need to do, ie feed the cows and make sure my mom is ok. Thank you ❤️

Re: How I met my wife
Hey! This hits pretty close to home. I met Judy at the skeet/trap club. She already owned a 1100 skeet, a model 12, a couple of 22's and a handgun or two! I tell myself that I only let her beat me at trap shooting to promote domestic tranquility. Yeah, even I don't believe that!😁 Bob

Oldest Son Turns 49 Today
Remembering that he was nearly a month overdue when he was born and weighed in at 9 3\4 pounds! Was lying beside my wife sleeping in the wee hours of the night when her water broke! I must have ran at least 3 red lights on the way to the hospital! Never a cop around when you could have used one! In those days, us dads to be just sat around in the waiting room where there were ash trays next to every chair!
Scotty turned out to be well chosen from above to be our #1. He has always been there for both my wife and I, along with his younger brothers during all the good times and bad! I sure am proud of that young man!!

Re: Befitting for the past, Befitting for the future ,,,,,,
Bald Eagle numbers are on the rise.... I think it's a sign. A sign of Strength and of Patriotism. Our eagle sits in the tip of neighbors eucalyptus trees at least a 100 feet up, she always seems unafraid and close to God.
My favorite verse in the Bible and one I have spoken many times says,
"And youths shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint"
