Local K-Mart Dumps Handgun Ammo

I guess they were serious about not selling handgun ammo anymore. Our local K-Mart just donated the remaining stock of handgun ammo to the local PD.

It apparently never occurred to them that there are long guns in 9mm, .40 S&W, .357 Mag/.38 Spl, and .44 Magnum. I wish they had had some .45 ACP ammo so I could fire up a Thompson.

Oh well. It all went to good use.

K-Mart hasn't carried handgun ammo down here (Jacksonville,FL.) for a long time.

Nunn, if you're talking about the Greenville K-Mart, last time I was there it was just a dump, period.

There are three of them in the process of closing within 30 miles of my home. The rest of them can close also as far as I am concerned.

Maybe I'd better run down there and see if there are any boxes on clearance sale....

Three of the five in a 50 miles radius of us are closing as well. Everything is 40%-50% off. All the good stuff went when it was only 25% off. I missed out.

I live in upstate N.Y.,where they've been building this huge distribution center, they've probably poured about a million yards of concrete so far, now they put it on hold because of their chapt.11 status. Up here in the "LEFT" state, K-Mart has been enforcing their own political agenda, as far as handgun ammo is concerned, for quite some time now. I own a Marlin lever in .44 Rem Mag, and years back they asked me to produce a pistol permit, to purchase the 'Pistol' ammo. I told them to go scratch; I'd take my business elseware. Any body that uses Rosey as a spokesperson should be considered a political enemy, as far as I'm concerned. Three cheers for WAL-MART!

Kmart did the same thing in PA. My brother's department got all the remaining pistol ammo for free. Too bad I have a walmart in my jursidiction.

K-mart is going outa business here as well, thank god. I went into the local store awhile back to pick up a few things and while I was there went to the sporting goods dept. I asked for a box of 45acp ammo. This kid says," We don't sell handgun ammunition any longer since what happened on 9-11. I told him I understood completely, what with all those highjackers wielding all those awful handgu--- wait a minute, they didn't use handguns. In fact, they didn't use guns at all! They used box cutters, deadly awful assault boxcutters. That kid had the funniest look on his face Id seen in a long time. Then I asked if they still carried box cutters. "Oh there over in the tool dept. I pushed my buggy to him and asked if hed mind putting the stuff in it back for me, then I left. I WILL NOT PURCHASE ANOTHER ITEM FROM K-MART...

When Clinton left office they gave him a 21 gun salute. Its a damn shame they all missed....
