Just got off the phone with a lady from the Pa. Game Dept.I asked her why the deer herd is doing so well in Pa.She told me that over the years they have tried many things to manage the herd.Most of which were not successfull.Within the last few years though the herd has taken a huge upswing.THE REASON--Most Pa. hunters are shooting RUGERS. Bill Ruger has announced that in the interest of game conservation he is considering building a new plant in that State.
