To BR and others,
I am sad to announce that the least weasle, formerly known as "Skittery" (my daughter named him) has passed over to the happy hunting ground in that big chicken coop in the sky.
He, unfortunately, had developed a secondary infection to his injuries, which antibiotics did not cure.
He passed peacefully in his sleep, and is now buried in a lovely spot in the woods behind our home.
Oh Skittery, we hardly knew ye.....
Sorry if I sound flippant, but it was for the best, and a relief. He was not convalessing, just lingering. I hate to see any critter suffer.
