I just found a trap I had forgotten about. Nothing left but the skeleton of the mouse and the remnants of gray fur.

    More than once I've forgotten (or lost) a trotline only to discover it later with nothing but a skull on it and a turtle likely cleaned the rest. Oops. As I got older I kept a notepad with all my trotlines, I also numbered them so I'd know if I missed one...

    Where can you legally run trotlines? In Michigan, I can't. [V]

    It's legal here in Texas.
