actionarms website hacked!

Just to warn any one who has an account with actionarms website. I got an email from them 7-30-07, notifying me that 5% of the member's emails and credit card information was stolen of which mine was one of them. actionarms was very slick in not letting the rest of their members know of the loss of personal information. I had to cancel my credit card along with many others who were members of their auction site. I would stick with Gun Broker and avoid actionarms!

    What is actionarms?
    I have been to a lot of firearm sights and have never heard of this one.

    Both sites depend on Windows platforms (gb sems to stay with one host/platform for a while, aa bounces back and forth according to www.netcraft.com), so I'm a tad leery to begin with. I'd be happier seeing BSD or one of the commercially licensed unices.

    On the other hand, as a buyer, you don't need to leave anything but contact info and email if you are willing to wait for a couple of feedbacks to be able to use BIN here on gb ...
