Wife Bought Herself a New House

mateomasfeomateomasfeo Member Posts: 27,143
edited July 2007 in General Discussion
Wife went shopping for a house. Looks like I'll be poorer and busier for the next couple of lifetimes. 3500 square feet. For three people. I will never get to retire.

I actually like this one. She is young, she is learning what I like.

That is true. I walked in sorta ho hum appease the wife mode, then looked up and thought, woah! I am guessing a 25 foot ceiling.

Hope the cleaning lady has a ladder.

The property is nice though not large (2 acres) but has 50 live oaks.

Of course this means I'll be divorced again soon...[:D]

That this was purchased by advantaging the misery and misfortune of others should not trouble you one iota, mattie. No matter that every slab of neatly piled flagstone, every faux-adobe brick and even the Weber with its handsome all-weather cover, was paid for at the expense and with the tears and fear of those from whom you exacted exorbitant fees. Perhaps the next custody battle or loss of limb case you pursue will yield enough for you to buy a plasma TV or Cub Cadet to go with it?

    Enjoy.

Nice place to repose. Must be located on a toxic waste dump, though. Herebouts, that little bungalow would go for closer to a half a mil.

Austin Stone, Texas Live Oaks, tin roof, Stock Tank - it is only missing the rifle/pistol range. A cardboard box about 25 paces off the back porch (moveable to 100 steps) should do until you get flush again after the next case.

Just curious though Mateo, those things hanging down over the bed, are they.... nope, nope, no sir-re-bob, I ain't going there....

    Very nice house.

I like the design and layout.

Get those branches trimmed so they don't touch the roof...they'll rub the protective coating off.

Very nice "Texas Hill Country" style house.

We hope to move back to TX in a few years and maybe find a second home near Utopia.

The entertainment center (bug zapper) might be a little close to the seating area....

Nice place, plenty of room for the Sheridan Silver Streak, Bud Light cans and target practice.

However, I see no Texas Flag in the yard, no Cowboys windsock and no bluebonnets painted on the mailbox. In all honesty, if you have spent the night there, you have had time to see that those things were in place....

That is a very nice home. Getting Mrs K to purchase a new home would not be a problem. The problem would be getting her moved out of this one while leaving me here alone [}:)].
