What a great comparison!!! Lets see the M-92 would have to be a Honda, the Glock would be a BMW, the Sig-Sauer would be that high priced Italian number starting with a D....., but I'm really curious.....where does the Jennings fit in? Beach

Jennings would be the Mini-bike with a chainsaw engine.

I suppose you could compare pistol calibers to CC's.

    Good comparison!
With my experience I would think that the Glock would be the Honda.
Then again I just bought a Kimber that is functioned flawlessly so far, now that I'm using Wilson mags.

Hello, don't boogerize the 1911 by comparing it to that POS. Terrible comparison.

Hello, that was strange. I typed b@$t@rdiz3 but it was changed to boogerize.

Umm, I'm not trying to cause any hate and discontent but this was an article in a gun mag a few months ago. I know I still have the mag, I can find it and tell you which mag, and which month/issue it was. But it was the exact same analogy.

The only difference between the two, is that 1911s work, consistantly.

Two minds fixated routinely on similar subjects are probably very likely to come up with similar notions and ideas once in a great while.

For example, one poster on this board came up with an idea that could use the possible sunset of the 1994 Ban to profit gun dealers and also benefit gun owners. Interestingly enough, I had emailed a similar idea to several gun manufacturers and one is taking the notion seriously. His idea dealt with pre-ban magazines. My idea dealt with pre-ban guns.

With all the recent talk of HD's and 1911's it is quite plausible that cletus85 thought about this idea on his own.
