time travel?

Who said it can't be.

When I want to go back in time,I grab a Pusser's Rum and coke, go out to the shop, and put an old album (yes, a vinyl, 33 rpm, record) on the old turn table. This was salvaged from a non-payers storage rental.
But all albums are my old stuff.
I tell you what, put on old Zeppelin, Creedence, Cream, BOC, Sabbath etc. and that music can take you back to a particular dance, old girl friend, bar fight or whatever.
Now, that's time travel[8D]

    I've done something like that a couple of time and ended up somewhere in the future but never the past.

    Some stuff just sounds better on vinyl. I'm 29, and was the last generation born where the 33 1/3 was the standard for new releases with maybe a concurrent casette release.

    I've been meaning to plug my turntable output into my laptop and rip all my vinyl but it takes a lot of fiddling to get it sounding right- to keep the pops and hisses but not mess them up either.
