    It's a long story.

First he said it took to long for my payment(check) to reach him( 5 days to go 1,600 miles), so he wanted to relist.

Then he said my FFL holders license was expired (which it was but he had a 6 month extension that was mailed to him along with the ATF phone number)and couldn't sell to me and was going to relist.

I found out his phone number and called him to get him to agree to this. He did say he would honor the transaction as long as the check cashed and the FFL holder was legit. I told him I bid in good faith and expected him to uphold his end of the deal.

So far he has not cashed the check. I guess I should check the auctions to make sure he didn't relist.

I think he realizes that he should have put a Reserve on it. He wanted $395. and I got it for $281.

I checked Gunbroker.com today and it wasn't listed there, and I also checked my online bank account and he still hasn't cashed it.
If I see it it relisted I'm bidding $10,000.00 dollars (not that Rugers aren't worth it) but let's see if he can collect it.

The Seller has had the check now for 8 days and still hasn't cashed it.
I don't think he is going to ship the gun. He probably found someone to give him more Money.

9 Days and he still has not cashed the Check. I don't think he is going to cash it.
