correction...the only dummy is the loser who lost control,
they were going nowhere near fast enough to lose grip like that idiot did in a car like that...must have went straight from a Prius to a Vette [:D][:D][:D]

Had to actively DISENGAGE the active handling to do that.

No business owning or driving a car like that if you can't handle it.

I've been far more out of control (with more HP) and got it sorted out. Guy on the right obviously does not know how to drive. However, I don't do it next to someone on road with bikers and kids. Idiot.

I don't feel sorry for them at all.

I feel better for not having and never having a Vette, than either of those folks feel about themselves . . . right about now . . . and the past week or so! [:(] [;)] [:D]

Prime example of why Corvettes are so high priced to insure.

comparing minimum to full collision isn't fair.

Even admitting that you own one says something about your "stature" ...

oh yeah...the tired old BS about how guys with sports cars are supposedly compensating for something...

well what about all the people with their big, stupid, and SLOW SUVs???
Oh I know...they are compensating for BRAINS and or SKILLS with 2 extra tons of steel since they know they WILL crash [:D]

sports car haters are a bit like the libtards who claim gun owners are "compensating"...I guess the libs will use their dick to stop a home invader...how gay! [:o)]

It would be really tough to move into competition mode in a C5 while trying to shift, since you have to hold down a button in the console and toggle through the different modes.

I think the guy on the right got a woody because he thought he left the C6 in the dust. Not realizing the C6 was directly beside him, he changed lanes, overcorrected, then overcorrected again.

That wasn't a Callaway so look elsewhere. BTW.. my 38 yr old Corvette doesn't have any traction control but 16 yr old Grand Sport does. I imagine the poor guy on the right either swerved to miss something in the road, had a tire issue on the right side to go left. Imbalance of tire pressure in a corvette is a serious issue quickly. Looks like the city folk can't drive a straight line. Rednecks would have been doing a circle burnout on down the road 1/2 mile.

I half the time in my truck light them up if I need to get on it hard. Have to remember to put it in 4 Auto. By hard I mean trying to leave the parking lot and have a small hole in traffic to fit into.

Most of the time they slow down cause of the smoke and let me in.[:o)]

The only time I go sideways is when I want to.

My SUV is there to perform a job. Get a herd of kids to soccer practice/games and pull my camper. It has performed that job quite well for the last 130,000 miles.

Nobody is hating on your sports car, I would drive one if my needs were different. I had ragtop Mustang before kids, but it's hard to pack 6 kids into that(we carpool with other families, only 2 are mine)

    stupid stupid stupid

I think his friend was filming. I couldn't hear the cars revving like they were going to race, i didn't notice them moving up and jumping the line in anticipation of the light.

i just wonder if the c5 was just trying to be cool and drive next to the other Vette and he begin to drift to close tot he c6 and then over corrected and lost control?

I just got rid of a 2006 2500 with a 6.0 4.10 rear 2 wd and the only thing it would light was was the dollar signs on the pump. [:(!]
