Another Palin plus

Bet the NRA has a big increase in female membership. Two of my sisters who have previously not shown an interest in guns now want to shoot, especially the "Rifle Sara has". Wonder if Lauer Coatings will do a Sarah special for AR's, ie a white camo job.

I wonder, if McCain and Palin get voted in, how many parents will be naming their daughters "Sarah."

I love seeing the future of this nation reduced to the level of a beauty pageant.

And people wonder why we're in such great shape today...[xx(]

Whether you support McCain or not, I don't remember ever having seen a VP choice garner so much excitement. Whether McCain wins or not, she's going to get more exposure than Obama (and probably McCain, too) and that's going to hurt the Democrats.

It ain't so much SEX as it is CONSERVATISM - prior to his pick, something that was SORELY LACKING in the Republican Platform.

Sex and appreciation of the opposite sex are two totally different issues. Sarah Palin is easy on the eyes, but she's not a sex bomb... And therein lies the difference between liberalism and conservatism in many respects. We seem to view the world differently. Personally, I make a huge distinction between the two. Others don't.

That Governor Palin is female and nice looking is great. Especially great when compared to the Democratic crone. But it's not about physical attributes, is it? At least I hope not.

Mother of five. Same husband from the start. A Washington outsider. Strong supporter of the Constitution as written. Gun owner proficient in the use of firearms. The list goes on.

My hope is that she will bring some balance to McCain who I see as a good man, but flawed in so many ways as make me unable to vote for him on his own merits.

My vote will be for Palin/McCain, not for McCain/Palin.

Yeah right... I don't recall people wanting Reagan on a "guns and girls" calendar.

    Monkey,
100% wrong. As I said, I know her and she is the real McCoy. No fake or flake there. Her good looks should not held aninst here.
Do you think a woman has to be ugly to have morals and a brain???[;)]

And, if something happened to the sitting president, I would rather the person making the decisions have her values rather than Biden's.

    Ref: Beauty Pageant

Am I so dumb as to not realize that it may very well be a beauty pageant? C'mon, folks. If McCain had to choose between Sarah Palin and Moms Mabley, (who some here would say has equal experience), whom do you think he'd place on the ticket with him?

Putting political analyses to the microscope has its merit..

..but she's exciting news! Let's lighten up and revel a little bit. Life's too short! Best, Joe

Plenty of women voted for both JFK and WJC because they thought they were good looking....

They appear to be contrary to his values and HE is the one who'll be Chief Exec.. SHE was selected to pull you party faithful back into the fold. Seems to be working.

Whatever fears/issues anyone had with McShame prior to this, still exist.

This seems nothing more than a handy/convenient excuse for those of you who were going to vote for him anyway, to now absolve yourselves for your pending vote against the Republic.

Let the 'tug-fest' continue.......it keeps ones eye OFF the ball, just as intended...

I read a little about her and like her from the start. Before I even knew what she looked like. She has an 80 percent approve rate in her state. I wouldn't know, but I would think that Alaska is full of gun owners and outsdoors men. To have an 80 percent approval rate in such a crowd is A-okay by me.
I wonder about those who don't like her because she is good looking would think differently of her if she was an old man, but still had the same values. If good looks gets her and McClain in office, then good. Any thing to keep Obama out of office works for me.
I maybe wrong, but there are a lot worse people out there that McClain could have chosen. As far as a better choice, I think he had slim pick'ens.

I know who's getting my vote this fall.

I have been following Gov. Palin's career for a few years. She is real close to being the perfect woman , and her politics are right on for this old hunter . Getting her for just a rib is,a real bargin. Until McCain put her on the ticket I wasn't going to vote this year. Last election I voted against Cary and got Bush for four more years. Thats a rock and a hard place, (lose lose)

    Who is McClain?

Maybe he is worth a snit. Neither Obama or McCain are.
