What new guns are you thinking about for ?19?

Here is what I?m thinking...
I tried a friends Sig 365 at the range the other day. Really like the Green Day glow front sight with the night sights on it. Felt good, shot well and liked the trigger.

Also intrigued by Ruger?s new offering on the 6.5 Creedmoor or 338 Lapua. Although they may be overkill for coyotes on the back 60!

Lately I've been taking my 1911 for granted... So I thought I would get a Glock to remind me how nicer a 1911 is compared to any other pistol on the market...[:0][:0]]

M1A National Match. It will be about as much use to me as the Remington Tac-14 I bought a few months ago but I decided I want one.

I should sell some rather than buy. But my first one will be an old H&R 1908 single shot in 28ga. It should be here in a few days. I over paid, but I wanted it.

    Hopefully another WW2-era M1 Garand.

Why, I'm not sure, but I'm planning on buying a Ruger Single Seven. I've decided I want to learn/load the 327 mag and the 32 H+R mag. I'm curious as to how well/accurate reduced loads will shoot. I'm also curious how I can make the 327 get up and go.

    Sig is reissuing the P210...

    A modernized updated variant...

I have an original P210 - a 3 bbl combo gun (9mm and .30 Mauser and .22 long rifle rimfire) target variant

I don't think they can or will produce a better pistol but I find myself intrigued

A competition / purpose built dedicated target variant of the mateba revolver (8 3/8" spiral fluted heavy bbl)

A semiautomatic pistol caliber carbine in .327 federal or .357 sig

Kimber's ccw snub nosed revolver with a double action exposed hammer

A semiautomatic trap and skeet shotgun with vent rib bbl's - a combo gun with swapable barrels in .410 and 28 gauge

A CZ bolt action target rifle in 6.5x55mm with international iron target sights and a 28" bull bbl and canjar style trigger - adjustable cheek piece and butt plate - a freeland style full length forend rail

A modern take on the lemat CSA Navel revolver

A high capacity double stack magazine Bauer or baby browning .25 acp semiautomatic pistol or carbine

Just to name a few concept platforms to name a few

    Mike

JM stamped Marlin 1894 in 45 Colt.

S&W 460XVR with 8.375 barrel and green f/o front sight.

    CZ 527 in 221 fireball

and a few other S&W revolvers to fill the empty spots.

Oh yeah, and a Weatherby vanguard in 6.5-300 wby., and another in 240 wby.

I picked up a considerable quantity of 22LR to use in teaching the grands to shoot.

So I'm looking for new single shot bolt action rifles to wear out.

I already own more than I want or need. I think that this year I'll pare down to just a few. No new purchases this year until I make room in the safe.

Perhaps no new guns for 19, I have managed to sell a few and hoping to continue to reduce rather than enlarge the collection. :)

That said I still NEED some guns :)
Why don't we go to school and work on the weekends and take the week off!

I finished up the last three months of '18 with a Python, a Kimber Ultra Carry .45, a Walther P22 target, a Kimber Micro 9, a Ruger GP100, a Steyr GB 9mm and another SIG P232.

This year has started off with a Tisas Regent BR9 in stainless.

It's going to be a great year. [:D]

I just acquired a Remington 550-1 like my Grandfather had. (He died in 1985).

Also, I obtained a Rock Island 1911 in .45 acp.

These two will keep me occupied for a little while.

Meanwhile, I'll keep my eyes open for whatever deals pop up.

Picked up the 28ga today, it's in pretty good shape for being made in the 1920's. The trigger is a little quick, but it locks up tight.
