these are older stumps about 5 to 8 years old but some are still soild theres about 100 [B)][:D]

Are you looking to dissolve the stumps or prevent re-growth. Potassium nitrate doesn't really work. It is supposed to weaken the stump, and then you burn it our. The stump is supposed to be a year dry. Putting lit charcoal briquettes on the stump will do the same thing cheaper. Nothing I have found that you can pore on and make the stumps go away. Time will also do it.
