Just my opinion but If I could have just one it would be a 4" .357 like this. I wonder if I look around the house if I could find one??

Redhawk in 44 mag. Can shoot the hottest of the hottest 44 mag loads, or the nice and genteal 44 special.
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

I always thought those would make an ideal carry gun.

If you run out of ammo, you can crawl up the barrel and hide. [:o)][:D]

I think you need to make the discinction between optimum concealed and outside carry full size service handguns.
A steel 357 with a four inch barrel and tgt sights is a heavy , wide handgun to carry concealed.
Once in your hand though it's probably one of the best choices.
