I would pick up an FN Five-seveN before they get banned.

It's easy to spot liberals-they are the ones who have no assets to protect and need every handout they can get. They have forbeyed themselves ascendence to a productive lifestyle.

Rebel has it right. Buy 3 Rack Grade Greek M1's at the CMP. Assemble one correct one from the three...then take and shoot the heck out of the two remaining shooters for the rest of your life. Or buy one US Service Grade($500) and a ton of CMP ammo and shoot the heck out of it for the rest of your life, will it to your kid and he'll treble his money when he sells it. Beach

That would almost pay for a nice scope (Night Force)...

I cannot recommend how you spend the cash, but I would highly recommend spending it with the company below[;)][:)]

I'd buy an Annie Oakley Commemorative Winchester Model 9422 and some ammo, and I'd go out and have fun.

When our new grand daughter gets old enough to shoot, I'd teach her how to shoot and then probably give it to her when she got a bit older.

I'd buy a good used SAA Colt 45. Shoot it or don't it will be worth more each year you have it. Then when you see something you really want that Colt is like cash in hand.

welcome to the GB forums, and try them all.... I'd put just a dab more money with it and get another Kimber .45 ACP... or another 20 cases of 12 gauge shells for sporting clays... or a fly fishing trip to the Florida keys....

I'd just stick to the peyote. Such a wonderful clarity afterwards, and not so much "goofyness" hangover.

Honest? A wall-mount flat screen TV w/ cable for the wife.
And a locking door (with one key) for my shop.

If I was just starting out with firearms, I might look at getting a CZ or Witness in your choice of calibers. (I prefer SIG, but the money doesn't go as far) Then go for a Remington 870, 1100, or 11-87, depending on what you wanted to do with it. Adding in a Savage rifle in your favorite caliber, would just about take up the $1000.

Now if it was me, I would add $1200 to it and get the HK-91 (made in "80" NIB) that I just ran across. It's tempting, I'm thinking about it.
    Hmmmmm.....
