I could care less about the guy. Honestly he may act the way he does in public to make money and laughs all the way to the bank about it. I could care less about him. By you and I sitting here talking about him he is making money and this is what he wants. If people just left him alone he wouldnt have any money.
End of the day he does nothing illegal, but maye say things that are borderline inmoral, but really who cares they are just words. Nobody has to read, watch, or consume his products. Again hes american he might be scum, but hes entitled to say what he wishes and Im happy that he can, just like I am happy that you or I can sit here and talk just as bad about him.
Money is a lot more than toys its about being comfortable, eating filet vs ramon, its about having a nice retirement. Either way thats what he chose, who am i say if hes right or wrong. The guy stoops pretty low at times, but probably not quite as low as prostitute.

Not a fan of the guy at all. But I think his recent comments were taken out of context and spun to a certain degree. Which I dont feel bad for him as he does the same. But at the end of the day hes probably got more money than most of us and hes entitled to his opinion.

well I will TRY again - he said "I was taught that snipers were cowards" no other context is really needed is there?
now he didn't say SOME snipers, or "but I don't believe that now because" .....
He just left it at that. So what possible "context" sentence did he say prior to, or after that sentence that would put that statement in a different perspective?
I can say that I was taught that Lincoln's emancipation proclamation freed the slaves and if I leave it at that then you'd think he freed ALL the slaves. I too believed that until I read the document an found for myself that Lincoln only freed the slaves in federally held (conquered) lands in the south. It DID NOT free the few slaves in the north or in the rest of confederacy. just a "little" detail left out of the history books.
SO - GIVE ME THE "CONTEXT" OF WHICH YOU SPEAK THAT WOULD ALTER THE
MEANING OF HIS ORIGINAL STATEMENT - "WE WERE TAUGHT THAT SNIPERS WERE COWARDS"

Am I defending michael moore, no, I think hes off his rocker. But From what he said I dont know what I can really draw from it. And its not necessarily what he said before or after, its what he was asked before and after. Without the full context of the interview its really hard to come to a full conclusion. And really the next three words out of his mouth could totally negate his first three words.
And if you have never been around the media which Im guessing you havent, you then dont understand what they ask, how they ask, and then what they choose to print.
And if in fact Michael Moore thinks snipers are cowards, SO WHAT!! hes not the only one nor will be the last one. Military and non mmilitary alike have dispised snipers for centuries.

Im not saying it was outta context and not sitting here saying he was right or wrong. What I am saying is how can I or anybody condem or relieve him without knowing the context? Skip context all together, where's the transcript from the interview? Was it even an interview, or just an ambush from a reporter? Now assuming past actions and his MO we might be able to come up with a pretty good conclusion.
Like I said already, if in fact MM said meant he hated snipers and thought they were cowards. My question is so what? Im not getting my panties in a not over it.
