The muzzle is fine....just a bad pic. It is crowned and is factory (not cut down) and has a few spots, but you can't feel them if you rub your finger on the end of the barrel.

just picked up one of these for my boy friday. in 7 mag. I was impressed. I liked the hogue synthetic stock better than any on the rems rugers or wins. It came with an illumiated Nikkor scope brand new out the door for under 500 great prices . In the process of breaking in the bbl, now well see how it groups later
