Woo-Woo! I'm back!

Well, It's been an interesting couple of days.

Saturday, after lunch, I was having chest pains, and I had my wife take me to the ER. They looked at me for about 45 minuyes, then put me on a helicopter to Dallas. Woo-Woo. Hadn't been on one since 1972!

They stuck a low pulse Cardo-difibrilator on me, and that sucker popped me about every 10 minutes. That wasn't fun, but I can take it. Got to Baylor, and they ran the same tests the other hospital ran, then took me to surgery. They did an emergency angiogram and found a 90% block artery. Put in a stint, and took me to a room.

Tried to get out Sunday, but the Doc said no way. Begged and whined until they were glad to see me go today. They wanted one more day, but I told them if I had to stay there any longer, I was going to start smoking again.

That did it! They kicked me out at 3:00 this afternoon. Have to go back Friday to get the stitches removed. Feel great. Ready to test out that 10mm between noe and Friday.

That reminds me. The doctor told me, don't lift anything heavier than a wash rag. I told him I would lift anything heavier than a 1911. He didn't get it. Sandy had to explain. He he he he!

What did I miss?

    You did not miss anything, we missed you. Glad you are back and doing well, I was first worried the "I will miss him forever" thread was about you. Glad to know you are still kicking. Don't lift anything heavier than a 9mm.

    Congrats on catching that one in time. My grandfather had the same thing happen, got up from breakfast and felt funny. Better to get a stint in time than a bypass when you're turning blue. Hope you recover quickly.

    So glad you are okay...Most men dont go to the emerg for chest pain...thank god you did.....
