No misses to speak of. I was so excited to shoot my 308 in a mcmillian stock, hart barrel, etc that I wouldn't wait until I could find the scope mounts to fit it. I had a leupold 50mm and with the heavy barrel, I had no mounts to fit. Sooooo....I mounted a cheap one just to shoot it. At 100yds, it's all fine and dandy, but at 2 and 3,....nope!! The adjustments just are not there. Up, left, down, and right, bullet was 1/2inch off. Then, with the leupold mark 4, well...bullets in the same hole.
I know I'm not some hollywood sniper in a movie, but I like to know that my custom stuff is capable of hollywood results. If I had to make adjustments and take a shot at 1000 yds, that scope would have cost me a spoiler shot. For all intents and purposes, it performs well, but not like the mark 4, and other high end stuff. Just a way of venting I guess.
A great rifle with a junk scope,....is junk.
