Bought this on the auction side and picked it up yesterday: #505546733. I wish I knew who did the work! The workmanship is great. The stock is even bedded in wood, not epoxy. I'm not left handed but I had to see how this was accomplished. It must have been done long ago (the barrel date is 1951) before left hand bolt guns like the Savage 110 were available. The bore looks good so I'll put a scope on it and shoot it. I'll use the factory drilled top mount holes, not the side mount holes that are there. I think those holes were for an Echo base. I'm guessing (I'll check it later) the screw holes are 10-32: Are plug screws available for those?
