Another operational error or a Flying complicated expensive piece of Junk?

Yet another in operations failure that should have never left the drawing board in my opinion. A Pentagon toy that is an failure with two many in flight crashes.

I wonder how That navy ship is doing with a 500,000 shell that can't afford to buy is doing?

Officials said while it?s unclear what happened to cause the crash, a mechanical issue is suspected. The crash is under investigation.

?Something happened in the air causing the aircraft to go down,? the official said.

A separate official said: ?It?s a miracle so few were injured."

Two Marine aviators and an infantryman died when their MV-22 Osprey crashed off the coast of Australia on Aug. 5.

The rotors' combined downwash creates a vortex effect, which negates lift.
    It then flies like debris.
These unarmed throwbacks thunder overhead daily in 'Burque, they keep a few around the KAFB to keep the pigeons nervous.
I'd fly in a homemade gyrocopter before I'd get in one of those.
Probably responsible for more dead Marines than the Chinook.[V]
