I'm so nervous about this it is almost making me ill. She is going to NY with her college drama/art class. She is 18 and can make these decisions herself but there is too much that can happen!! She will be with a group, however she has never been to a city (without me there) ever!! I am probably overreacting but I am just as worried about the trip on the plane as I am her stay there!! ,,,(worried)sod

I'm sure you are right. They say it's safer on the plane than in the car on the way to the airport! This will be an experience of a lifetime for her. New York City will amaze her for sure as she is just a country girl.

She is with a group, so they should be fine.
Everything will go OK. When she gets home, she will have more world knowledge.

BTW, your daughter will be fine. She should just be aware of the parts of the city she should never go to.

You're probably right I will never stop worrying! As my girls were 'growing up' I made durn sure that I was always there when they needed me. I can't do that when she is thousands of miles away!!
