Cor Bon PowRBall ammo

Cor Bon offers a type of ammo called PowRBall which is a jacketed hollow point that has a very small and round synthetic ball inserted into the hollow point to give it a smooth rounded nose profile and then a coating applied over it to reduce drag and friction on the feed.

How does this ammo in 9mm perform overall?

In the diminutive Kahr PM9 where the mag feed is slightly off-center by design and the top round in the mag is pitched upward at around 30 degrees also by design,

1) does/would this type of ammo feed better and more reliably in a small semi-auto?

2) is it really a good dependable self-defense round or just a compromise?
