GUN CONFISCATION!!!!

I was rather perturbed when reading some posts about "what ya gonna do when they come:

Here I see people PRO GUN , and being all for RIGHTS, saying that they are PEACE OFFICERS, and if the 2nd ammendment is stricken, they will do their JOB, as told by the government and start to confiscate your guns,

What your saying to me is your tuned in to BLIND OBEDIENCE, and to save, or keep your job, you would deny citizens of their rights and property, A couple said "I may not agree with it, and it may not be right, but I would still have to do my job."

If your job is so important that you could do this to the citizens of this country, then you become the PROBLEM, If you want to cut down a tree, you take off the branches first, then the tree falls better, YOU MY FRIENDS will be the branches. LR

    Indeed it would be a sad day when police officers had to go door to door for firearms. I for one WILL NOT AND CANNOT do such a thing. I took an oath and it doesn't have anything to do with being
    politically correct (an overused and toxic term I detest)It has to do with the citizens who put their trust in me to live an example to their children and defend the rights that we see so slowly and cunningly pulled from our grasp. When it all breaks loose and let's hope it never does, welcome to tht bunker we're in this together and with that goes "pass me another mag of 30-06" here comes a traitor.

    By the time it comes to gun confiscation it won't be unconstitutional. The Washington scum will have defeated the Second Amendment. They'll get as many mags. of .223 and .30-06 as Mrs. Mudge and I can squeeze off. Don't think for a minute that she can't handle that M-16.

    Surely even the liberals can recognize what trying to take our guns would do to this country. Surely all this "Ban guns for the whole world" is just rhetoric designed to keep them in the good graces of their naive liberal constituency. Surely if they have the savy to get elected they have the insight to know that we're not going to just blindly hand over our only means to insure some honesty in our government. Granted, there isn't the threat of armed insurrection everytime they do something we don't like, but how much restraint do you think the decadent SOB's will show if they know we don't have the means to stand up for what's right. Surely, in some deep recess of their brain that they don't like to talk about they know that we would organize and prevent it from happening, just like our founding fathers did 226 years ago.

    Saxonpig, I'm with you on this one. The day that they come to my door to confinscate my guns, I will probably die. But I'd be taken as many as I can.



    I just wish I had a dollar for every gun I wanted, then I'd be a rich man.

    If that day comes, I will be with the lot of you, defending my rights, as I understand them, not as someone else understands them, to the death. My wife doesn't understand why I would give my life just because I couldn't own my guns, I explained, that at that point, it wouldn't be just because I couldn't own my guns. Over time, she has come to understand.
