We have all watched as online personas use annonimity to attack and tear down others here. Social media offers an opprotunity that one normaly doesn?t have, an opprotunity to say things that one normaly wouldn?t say to anyone. We have seen people attacked, lives threatened, employers contacted and all sorts of childish bull crap.

We have also seen the reinvention of people, some folks are not who they claim to be. Then others are honest about who they are, offering a look into thier worlds.

I?ve met many folks from here and all of them have been top notch people, there are some however that I caution myself against meeting, we are just worlds apart. I?ve met a millionaire from here, a cop, fellow truck driver, very educated folks and plain regular guys, this forum has it all as far as people and thier backgrounds and most of us have one common interest, a love for the 2nd which is what allows such a dicerse group of people to hang out.

Then we have the online bullies, they are contrary in every way, instead of offering a different ciew or critisism they attack credibility, attack differences, point out shortcomings or opposing views as a terrible thing and exploit this as a failing trait.

FCD, I?ve met him and he is the real deal, yes he works in a fast paced enviroment and yes that triggers some fast paced conversation with him. He is proud of what he had done and what he does, there is nothing wrong with that, either you like him or you don?t. He is one of the old timers here, part of the family and is one of the good guys.

Magoo or whoever he is, I don?t know much about him or why he would go after FCD, suppose it makes him feel better to make another feel like poop. In one way or another many of us have been victim to people like this, hell I have my fan club as well, but we are who we are and trolls, well they eventually leave.

Whatever faults FCD has are made up for by his story telling ability.

FCD is a valued knowledgeable member and I hope he has not gone away or in crisis of any kind.
