Just now got back from the lake,, 2 nice bass 3 lb and 4 lb, and a dozen big Blue gill and one decent cat fish,, Might hot out, till sun down, then the skeeters come out to eat ya.. all in all not a bad day..

My line broke just as my bobber came out of the water and I got a glimpse of something golden. I can only guess it was a big catfish.
It was the hardest fighting fish I have encountered since living out here.
My brother pulled out a 7.5 lb. channel cat last month. I have put crappie in for the past two years and as yet have caught none. This lake was put in in 1956 so I guess there are surely some monsters somewhere in the acre it covers.
